New topics published: managing volunteers and leading prayer meetings

Two new and diverse sets of Training Notes have been published on this website today. TN153 is titled 'How not to manage volunteers' and TN154, 'Prayer sessions that engage'.

Managing volunteers is a topic that gets little press, but is vital for an effective and motivated church workforce. By listing 'how not to's' the pain of many volunteers can be highlighted so that managers can learn necessary lessons.
Corporate prayer sessions in a church need organisation to encourage people to come and pray. Training Notes TN154 offer four creative ways of leading prayer meetings so that the same formula is not used every time.
