Advice on disability audits

One of the new set of December Training Notes, uploaded this week, sets out helpful guidance on how to conduct a disability audit. TN135 lists four actions to take and seventeen areas to investigate.

The four actions consist of an access audit, a services audit, listening to practical advice and gaining external advice. The areas to audit are extensive and cover buildings, grounds, communication and more.
TN135, How to conduct a disability audit, is designed for leaders, administrators and pastoral care staff. The noteswill help any church have proper respect for everyone in the disability community which, as the notes point out, is more extensive than you may realise.
