Training Notes TN114 suggest you consider the profile in six sections, ranging from the heart of the church (an overview of membership and priorities) to the future (vision, prayer and plans). The listing of information about church and area may be the longest sections but are not necessarily the most important.
The document should be interesting, honest, visual and definite. The last point is especially stressed when it comes to preparing the person profile for a new Minister, which is too weak a section in many churches' documents.
