Take care with church members who work alone
13th February 2015
The latest set of Training Notes, TN85 Preparing a Lone Worker Policy, has been uploaded to the site today. It seeks to highlight the need for LWPs to be provided for both staff and volunteers as part of a church's Health and Safety at Work Policy.

These Notes seek to highlight the value of such a policy within a church setting where many people are working alone at various times. 'Alone' also includes being on their own in one part of a large building.
The Notes provide advice on the kind of responsibilities that might be listed for both employer and staff/volunteers in a church setting. There is then a listing of the sections that a Lone Worker Policy might include with examples.
Access Training Notes TN85. Preparing a Lone Worker Policy, here. They are also shown on the Administration and Management listings pages.
