TN115 Identifying gifts of administration

Synopsis

These notes provide a simplified version of the Health-check on this website, A Gift Assessment for Administrators, at HC8 & HC9.

The Health-check is designed for individual use, but will be too complex for wider application in a church, such as for seeking out gifted volunteer organisers or interviewing for administrative staff. So these notes provide that.

TN115 takes the same model of three areas to test as the Health-check.

1. Aptitude - is designed for all types of administrator and shows how administrative gifts work out in their personal organisation, their attention to detail and their willingness to serve behind the scenes.
2. Fascination - provides tests for those who are more 'leader-administrators' (from 1 Corinthians 12) and investigates their interest in business issues, systems and people.
3. Discipleship - is a more general area of testing but places gifts of spiritual administration in their correct context, looking at the focus on Jesus Christ, faith in him and his lordship over their gifting.
